Don’t worry. We’ve all done this and Gopher can easily cope.
If you wish to change or cancel an order contact please contact Gopher customer services on 01926 818000 or e-mail us at contact us any time between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please have the Gopher order number and date on which you placed the order to hand.
You must notify us of any cancellations or amendments within 24 hours of placing your order.
If your products have already been delivered, then you will need to follow our returns procedure for unwanted goods.
We display a product range that fulfils the vast majority of day to day requirements. We accept that there are some specialist products, which are not displayed on the site. If you have a requirement outside our range we will try and source this for you. Please call the Gopher customer services on 01926 818000 or e-mail us at contact us if you wish to use this service.
We regret that we are unable to sell in pack sizes other than those shown on the Gopher website. We try always to offer customers pack sizes that are consistent with their needs. For example, many chemical products are sold in singles for this reason. Some products, however, cannot easily, or for hygiene reasons, be readily split down and these will be sold in the stocking unit (usually a case).
At Gopher it is always our intention to supply you with the product chosen by you as advertised on the website. We maintain large stocks at all times to ensure that this is the case.
Sometimes, at very short notice, products are discontinued, or the manufacturer changes the specification; or they may simply become unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In these circumstances, we may substitute a product at no lesser specification or price. If the price is higher, you will continue to be charged at the original price.
We will advise you of any product substitution in your original order. Should the substitution be unsuitable, we will arrange free collection of the goods and, either replace them or make a refund as necessary.
Price FAQs
By default all prices are shown excluding VAT. However you have the option to show price VAT inclusive by clicking on the ‘Show Price inc VAT’ at the top of each page. Note that the status of your price, whether or not VAT exclusive/inclusive is also indicated alongside each product price.

We believe our advertised prices to be the lowest available on the internet on a like for like product basis. We regularly compare our prices against competitor sites, so that we can guarantee that we are always offer the lowest on-line prices. For more details see Gopher Price Check.
We are so confident that our prices cannot be beaten, that if you find exactly the same product on another website at a lower usual advertised price (that is excluding special offers and promotional deals) we will refund the difference and give you a further 5% of this difference as a Gopher Voucher to spend on your next purchase! Payment FAQs
At the present time we regret that it is not possible to purchase goods from Gopher Supplies other than by credit or debit card. We accept all major credit cards (other than American Express).
At the present time we are only able to accept payment by credit or debit card at the time of purchase, although we intend to provide credit account facilities in the future.
We regret that we do not offer lease or HP terms on the purchase of any equipment.
Yes, completely!
Gopher uses the best available industry standard secure server software (SSL) in order to ensure the highest level of security for e-commerce transactions. All your personal information, name and address, and credit or debit card number, is encrypted (or scrambled) so that it cannot be read as this information is passed across the Internet. Delivery FAQs
We hold permanent stocks of all popular lines and many other lines. With the exception of certain items of machinery and kitchen equipment we will aim to fulfil all orders within three days of receiving your order. You will always be advised if there is a particular delay on any item.

We regret that at the moment we are unable to offer a weekend or Bank Holiday delivery service.
Returns FAQs
Should goods be delivered faulty, incorrect or damaged, please report this immediately to the Gopher customer services on 01926 818000 or e-mail us at contact us, no later than three days following delivery. We will arrange free collection of the goods and, as necessary, replace them. Full details of our returns policy are set out in Gopher Assurance.

We regret that we are unable to make exceptions to this rule and you should check your consignment immediately on receipt.

Normally, the responsibility for the equipment warranty rests with the product manufacturer, who you should contact if you need to invoke the warranty. In the event of you being dissatisfied with the manufacturer's response please let us know and we will endeavour to take up your case for you.
Your invoice will be sent together with the goods.
Yes, the invoice sent with the goods contains full VAT details and is a valid VAT receipt.
